Hammacher Schlemmer boasts “quality products”. I purchased an air hockey table for my granddaughters for Christmas which came damaged in 3 places. A replacement was not available so I had to return the item. They refunded me only the cost of the item plus tax and refused to refund me over $100 in shipping fees. A damaged item which which they cannot replace is clearly their responsibility and they should absorb the cost of the shipping. I should never pay over $100 and have nothing to show for it.
This company should stand behind their merchandise that they promote as the best quality. Clearly, their items are not up to the standard they promote, neither is their fair treatment of their customers
well what i can say after spending thousand of dollars in the past ..buying expensive things from the 57th store location since i live two block up …last week in try to exchange a watch turn out to be the most unpleasant experience …sale person talking in back to me..a manager the would t care if you ever go back there or not..i cannot believe this store still open..are the peoples stupid..i found out that the same things you can get on line in other web site and much cheaper without having a nasty ass sale person talking in back to you because she can t accept the fact that she did wrong…fuckhammer schemer for sure they are not going to see ever again and for peoples that will read this get smart before thinking that they have a unique things goglle it first you will get cheaper in other places…
