What makes shopping for musical gear at the Guitar Center website is that they don’t have a minimum requirement for the total purchase order for people to take advantage of their free shipping. The only catch here is that they will have to choose one of their stores to have these items shipped there and then they can pick the equipment as they arrive. For those that wish to ship directly to their doorsteps, a very small minimum order amount of $25 will be required from shoppers. GuitarCenter.com claims to provide free shipping for most of its items, there are some exclusions that people should be aware of before buying. First of all, free shipping will not apply to those that are categorized as special orders, clearance and vintage products. This means that you will have to pay close attention to the products that you are interested in to ensure that you are aware if it will get a free shipping option or not. Aside from that, there are also separate handling fees that may apply even for items that quality for free deliveries.

If you purchase a digital keyboard, it gets shipped from Kansas to you. There’s a great
45 day return policy. You return it locally and they do curbside. That’s all positive.
Now, the issues.
1. Received and returned my first digital keyboard in < a day. Some keys were irreversibly
flat and upper octaves on the Yamaha EW-310 didn't work. I loved the easy return but I
sent an honest review and it wasn't published. If I lied in my review or was out to get a company,
I'd understand it. But a bad review on a product could be taken seriously and allow folks to purchase
something else.
2. Did my own research because the fellows there who supposedly know the keyboards were light in
knowledge. That's fine but just a caution. I purchased the next keyboard, a Casio. It was missing the power cord from the AC adapter to the wall. I'm sort of techie and had a temporary one from a tv or laptop and I had no intention of using it permanently because it didn't come with the adapter and I was concerned about possible harm.
— I called the 877 and told them the piece was missing. The person escalated to management and I was told the box arrived properly and if I didn't want the keyboard, return it. Ugh. All I needed was the right power cord.
— It took 3 more calls to finally get a male (sorry women and I'm a woman) who understood me and I WAS CLEAR. The adapter was the right one and he said Casio didn't pack it correctly. He ordered a replacement power adapter that was on backorder.
3. The order gnawed on me. I contacted Casio with a copy and paste of the backorder adapter. The problem was: 1) The order for the adapter (wasn't going to arrive until sometime in March) was for a non-Casio adapter. Guitar Center, rather than replace the adapter with one meant for the keyboard (which aren't on backorder) had a cheap $10 replacement that wasn't going to work with the keyboard. I would've waited until when in March to get an adapter that wasn't made for the Casio.
I love the return policy. Prices are baseline and go up in stores other than Guitar Center. The guys at the White Hall store are amazing with returns. But, the store is too messed up for me to even use them again and I wish this hadn't happened. Delivery is included in the price and since support was exceptionally bad except for returning keyboards, I'm leaving it at 0.
