I booked Insights Best of Ireland and Scotland tour 10/31/19 with Afforable Tours for $8,015 which INCLUDED airfare!! The trip was canceled due to COVID. Now Insight is giving me the run around (on hold for 1 hour 3 minutes) They are not honoring the agreement for my rescheduled trip April 21, 2022 — they want me to pay over $3000 for flights and $220 for transfers!! I asked for my money back 2 years ago, which was denied.
DON’T book with Insight — not reputable!! Bait a switch almost 50% higher than what I signed up for– REFUND MY MONEY!!!
I would assume that Insight writes their own reviews and posts them, giving themselves a perfect score. It is impossible that the reviews are that good. We took the Portugal/Spain/Morocco tour which was very costly for what we got. Even had to pay for our water on the bus! The hotels were often in a remote area, so in order to do anything we were forced to pay exorbitant amounts of money.
Please everyone, do not use Insight. You end up at every establishment that is Jewish owned, with a commission to Insight. Never again.
Beware Terrible company don’t use!!
Insight is a great company to travel with but if you cancel, it takes months to get your money back!
We travelled to Italy Grand tour17 days it was amazing our tour guides were extremely informative we were treated each day with treats it was great we have re booked again for this July Hopefully if the corona saga settles down i highly recommend insight to everyone who wants to go on an easy informative fun tour our accommodation was grt all centrally placed food supplied was good but all the optional dinnrrs r truely worth attending as the food and entertainment wss amazing
