Buyer beware I am like everyone else booked accomodation for June 2020 $1496.20 Trump Hotel Hawai cancelled inMarch due to COVID 19 and since that time with a lot of effort and emails and contacting hotel directly was told no money had ever been paid and they informed Otel.com to fully refund This company is part of Metglobal and finally told that refund would be reimbursed before end of year 2020 Ths is international stealing and no stars
Buyer Beware I am like the rest of the people trying to get a Covid 19 Refund booked hHotel in June cancelled in March Due to Covid 19 I sent a lot of emails and finally contacting Hotel no money was ever paid for booking and finally was told refund of $1496.20 would be paid by years end 2020
These people are thieves. I had a booking canceled back in march due to covid and they are refusing to issue a refund they went and retroactively changed their policy to no refunds. They offered a credit but i told them that is not acceptable and cited their policy and they refuse to respond. I have filed a Fraud complaint with the Federal trade commission and BBB. Buyer beware!!
this is a horrible site to book from i cant reach anyone for a refund. needless to say I wont ever do this again. I hope and pray the company crash and burn because they really are horrible.
It was a big mistake to book my hotel reservation with this company. I should have read the reviews before booking. In fact I thought I was booking with Hotels.com. and not Otel.com. I booked a prepaid room for one night in San Juan Puerto Rico (including taxes/fees). When I arrived at the hotel they told me that I needed to pay the room tax/fees. I was told that taxes and hotel fees were not included in the reservation. I showed the hotel staff my Otel.com voucher stating that the room was paid in full. They did not accept my voucher and had to pay $38.54 for taxes and other hotel fees. I was told to go back to Otel.com and request a refund for the taxes and fees. Upon my return, I contacted Otel.com and they refused to provide a refund, stating there is website that explains how hotel taxes and fees are collected. If that is the case why did they collect these fees from me in advance? On the other hand I booked an additional five stay in San Juan Puerto Rico with Hotels.com. everything was prepaid and there were not surprises at check-in or check out time. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIP-OFF LIKE I WAS.
MILITARY BEWARE!!!I f you like being charged twice for one booking you’ve come to the right place. These slick scammers will even throw in huge complications and lies about why it willl take about 6 mths to a yearto get your refund, as they kiss you with their blackmail lipstick, a no extras charge! You will get more respect from your enemies on the battlefield than from the scam artists on OTEL.COM.
No response to emails. They never booked my reservation and I can not seem to get them to give my money back. 2 months before trip. no response. Terrible company
Booked two rooms. Had to cancel due to wedding being cancelled. Although i cancelled in the correct time frame, no refund, just voucher for one year. Not good enough. go to facebook page and complain, it gets taken down…

The prices kept changing once I clicked onto otel and said “This deal no longer available” instead of taking that offer out it stays there. I ended up booking cause I coudn’t be bothered anymore and they added about $22 dollars for using my visa debit card (as if I can pay cash over the net anyway) Price agreed on Taxes and all fees as well as Credit card fees done..I clicked paid my $900 and then a sign came up telling me to pay an extra $82(or similar) to the Hotel when I arrive.
I was furious and I tried to send emails back etc…spoke to a chat girl who said ..It wasn’t their fault it was the Hotel charging the extra” I sent a complaint message etc but no one gets back to you as they don’t care. So basically every they show you the full price of what you pay they added another 10 percent after you click…..Do not use these dishonest people…I rang my bank and stopped payment x
Rip off
During the state of this world we were unable to leave our state and the destination state was on lockdown. We could not go on our vacation. No refund given!!!! Not even a partial!! This is unacceptable and poor business. I would give negative 5 stars on this process from the beginning. The room couldn’t even be verified until 2 weeks before the date. A week before we were on lockdown. It’s not a site i would recommend to the devil
Due to the pandemic my race was canceled so I tried to cancel my reservation. They refused to and never refunded me. So I figured I might as well run my race on my own since I paid for the room. When I got to the hotel to check in I found out that they did cancel my reservation but never refunded me! So I had to pay for another room for the night! DO NOT USE!! SCAM!!
its not a US country so you cant call and talk to anyone when you send a message to them on there website you get no response BAD help and support will never use again dont waste your time with this company
I booked and cancelled on the same day within about 2 hours. The site said free cancellation and they refuse to honor that. I have kept all emails with dates and times and they still say I cancelled the day after. This site is obviously a scam….DO NOT USE!!!!!
