A flight was canceled and 7 months later I’m still not reimbursed. They don’t allow phone calls so you can’t speak to a representative. They claim they can’t send me a check. They also say my bank info does not match theirs so they can’t deposit into my account. They were reimbursed from their airline so there is no reason why I should still be waiting.
These guys are scammers. Don’t book from them. I am chasing for last 8 months on refund and all I hear is bullshit. Now they don’t want to pay back at all but forcing me to use a voucher before June 2023 with very stupid and fraud terms and conditions…STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS
This company is the worst! Do not use Sky Tours. I used militaryfares.com to book a flight for my son to come home for Christmas. The first leg of his return flight was canceled due to mechanical issues. Luckily he found a flight with Southwest but it cost an additional $600. Sky Tours refuses to refund my money and Frontier Airlines won’t respond to me because I didn’t pay them

Waiting for refund since March 2020 from skytours agency. Airchina cancelled our flight and returned money to skytours agency on April 28th 2020. For year and half they kept on saying they are waiting for refund from Airline. When I recently contacted airline they said they returned money to skytours on April 28th 2020. They are fraud and liars still offering me a fake voucher instead of my money. Never use them.
The Sky-tours claim that they didn’t get refund from an airline for the covid canceled flight, but the airline informed me that the refund was issued already in May 2020.
It would mean that the Sky-tours tries to scam me…
No refunds. If your flight got cancled (Corona) your money is gone forever.
Worst customer service ever
After year and half of waiting for our refund from skytours. Recently found out that airline already returned the refund to Skytours but this agency keep on lying about refund not received. Then they aggred on September 02,2021 to return our money $508.90. When I asked when can we expect our money they said international transfer are closed right now. But all of sudden they sent me a email now saying that refund is given to us already in form of a voucher which is only valid till October 2021. Last year they said they can give refund voucher because they are waiting for money from airline. I never aggred to receiving any voucher because we can’t travel because of this pandemic. Now they got the money from airline, but didn’t want to return to us. So unprofessional, liars. Again I urge everyone never use this online skytours agency. They are so greedy. I will update if I ever get my money back.
Disaster!!! I booked a multi city itinerary with Sky-Tours. When I showed up at the airport, My reservation had the wrong last name, even though my receipt showed the passenger name spelled correctly. Lufthansa said Sky-tours had to fix it and Sky-tours said Lufthansa should fix it. Needless to say, in the 2 1/2 hours prior to the flight, neither could fix it and I was denied boarding on that ticket. I had to buy a last minute ticket to make it to the start of our tour and my wife and I had to split up in Frankfurt and go separately to Egypt. Our second leg of the trip to Greece was uneventful. Somehow the my name was correct on the second leg, but not on the first. This is hard to understand since I made the entire reservation in one transaction. Now on the return flight, since I had been denied boarding on the first flight, Lufthansa cancelled my return leg. I started contacting Sky-Tours 4 days prior to the return flight about this and they finally got me a reservation home about 36 hours prior to departure.
They say they are available 24/7. By phone, that is not true. I called them several times from Greece during normal business hours (9-5 EST) and after 5-10min on hold, I was hung up on. Online chat was marginally better. I was connected 1 of the 2 times I tried. Email, U always received a response, Usually within 24hrs. What I am trying to say, if you need short notice help, you will probably be disappointed.
After weekly contacts with Sky-Tours, I am still waiting for a refund of the flights I was denied boarding.
From my experience, my recommendation would be to spend a little more money and use a different booking site.
Disgraceful outfit – Profited from my funeral plans
My experience started off easily enough.
I needed a flight from Cyprus to Nigeria so i could arrange my father’s funeral. I saw a great price of €505 EURO and so I booked this. As my plans were liable to change I took out the TWG no quibble cancellation policy for £75 (gbp) – no problem so far.
Checked out and thought nothing of it. I then contacted them almost immediately to adjust my return leg which was done – so now I needed to adjust the return leg one more time but looking at one leg of my new booking the year was confirmed as 2021 an obvious mistake so I went back to sky tours and their first reaction was incredibly to deny all wrongdoing – I then realised that I had been charged the entire booking in pounds (despite airline confirmation of the booking being paid in euros) so overcharged again I was told this was my fault but I could use the no quibble cancellation and get £375 back from the £585 id been charged. Obviously appalled at this I went to my credit provider and requested a charge back. This is when things became really surreal! Their supervisor and company COO Elisabeth insinuated I was a fraudster and said I’d be airline blacklisted unless I cancelled my chargeback. I refused and was offered £425 back if I used the cancellation policy instead. And risk never seeing the refund and losing my flight so I also refused – I was told I could amend my flights at a cost of £200 if I wanted to – I said I just wanted the exchange rate discrepancy fixed and I’d draw a line under my dealings with this outfit – they blamed me for this and directed me back to their cancellation insurance – in the end I went to the airline directly who changed my disputed leg for NO COST! I have nothing but derision for this company. It took my charge back request to get any kind of response from them and their responses have been rude and insulting – do yourself a favour and avoid this company – book the flights direct with the airline. Sky Tours have wrongly but happily profited from me for simply trying to book a cheap flight to attend the funeral of my father. Shame on you and Big Sky Grup SA
