WeWood is a watch and accessory company that specializes in mostly reclaimed wood products. They have a wide range of sustainable resourced materials for crafting their watches. All of the wood they use is 100% natural. They also make cotton fiber sunglasses, which is actually made of real natural cotton fibers, layered together with canvas to create a durable frame. WeWOOD offers free shipping as well as discounts for the shipping outside of the U.S. Even though the frames are built of wood, the movements of the watches are made of the highest quality using Miyota movements. One unique thing that sets WeWOOD apart from any other watch company is that they plant one tree for every watch sold. They have already planted several hundred thousand trees and have a goal of 1 million trees planted by 2020. WeWOOD sources their trees from around the globe, but they also plant trees from the areas where they get their raw materials.

What I Didn’t Like

The only thing I was unsure about was the durability of the watch. I was relieved however, to know that WeWOOD has one year warranty on all the watch parts. You can also purchase another year of warranty for a very small fee. One thing to keep in mind is, the warranty only applies to watches bought in the domestic United States. Generally, the watch is more likely to have something happen to it in that second year if something is going to happen. In that case, it is well worth buying that extra year of warranty. As far as price goes, We-WOOD.us is right at the same level or cheaper than their competitors.

Overall, WeWOOD.com is a legit company, but several customers have complained of poor customer service and not receiving orders. Although some customers have complained about the quality of items they purchased, it’s unrealistic to expect luxury quality at their prices. What you will get is a middle of the road material, which will last for a fair amount of time. Most complaints are from customers that didn’t read through the website and understand their shipping and return policies. At WeWOOD.com they work to provide clothing at exceptionally low prices. It’s hard to beat free international shipping, even if it takes a bit longer than average.

They do NOT support their products. Their website claims to have repair services but they do not. We asked if we could pay to have a watch band replaced and it took them two weeks to get back to us and say “no”.
Their return policies are utterly absurd, and they sell watches that they don’t stock extra links for. The bands are non-adjustable, so you need extra links to adjust the size.
Under no circumstances should anyone buy a WeWood watch for someone as a gift (no returns or exchanges on gifts), and if you buy it for yourself, if it does not fit do not order extra links. You should instead return it immediately, because otherwise you’ll be outside the return policy (really?? 14 days?? For something that you ship??). Or better, don’t buy it at all.
I have a WeWood watch, but it doesn’t fit because the band is tiny. I tried to place an extra links order. It took them twenty days, two different tracking numbers, and eventually a phone call for them to tell me that they don’t have the extra links in stock, and don’t know if they’ll ever have them again. And now they’re saying it’s not eligible for a return or exchange.
If they’re not going to stock extra links, they should at least be flexible with their return and exchange policies.
