It’s free to join and very quick and easy to sign up for this feature.

Whether it’s a major hotel chain, a boutique hotel, a spa hotel, a ski resort or any other type of accommodation, Hotels.com will allow you to collect nights wherever you’re staying.

Cons: Hotels Reviews
The only negative aspect of Hotels.com is that they do not accept partial payments or deposits.
Customers are charged the full amount of their reservation at the time of booking if their hotel is eligible for the Welcome Rewards program or at check-in for all other ineligible reservations.
Some properties offer bookings that can be paid at the hotel, but you would still need to provide your credit card information to guarantee a reservation.
You would then be charged at the hotel upon check-in or at check-out.
This is not something offered by all properties featured on Hotels.com, so at this time, customers have to pay for their bookings upfront.

Although the entire hotel floor smelled of possible mold or fungus especially in our room, hotels.com sided with Galveston Beach Hotel. Unfortunately we did not see other reviews in TripAdvisor, google reviews, and yelp from other guest who had similar problems
Good website to get hotels and I was able to find some good deals. I recently booked hotels in London, Cardiff, Qatar, and Malaysia and had no problems.
I tried to use a free night from Hotels.com on 2 different occasions, the first in July and the second in August. On both occasions there was some type of excuse on part of Hotels.com as to why I could not use my reward and both excuses were different. My upcoming trip is now ruined thanks to Hotels.com. I will just leave the comment to that, as I am very ANGRY!!!!!!! Seems like whenever we tried to use the free night there was always an excuse. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! BEWARE of Hotels.com
DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY! I made a reservation and within 10 minutes cancelled. The website said a deposit was required for a December 2020 stay. Yet, when I logged on to check my credit card, Hotels.com charged the entire stay (nearly $6,000.00) to my account. So, with the “free cancellation” that they offered I cancelled. They haven’t refunded the amount to my credit card and are using COVID-19 as an excuse to delay. When I spoke with Hotels.com the “customer service” rep said it would take at least 30 days (first he said 35) for them to supply the credit. They are holding my money and therefore I can’t make another reservation. I have filed a dispute with the credit card, will take the appropriate steps and will never use them again. BUYER BEWARE!
This company are middlemen sharks who steal money from both the customers and their hotel providers. They do not issue refunds and have no leniency on any sort of change of plans. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
