Aside from the physical tools, Accuquilt has a bounty of resources to help quilters along the way. There are some great video tutorials showing how to create specific cuts and special techniques, ideas for quilting pieces, and a blog to discuss the latest trends in the quilting world.

Accuquilt does have shipping fees on their products. If you end up spending more than $99, then the shipping is free. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will always have fees and will go up with the price of the items purchased. They do provide shipping internationally, but there will be fees added on for that as well. Another thing that should be noted is that clearance items are not eligible for returns.

The other thing is that their customer service is very poor. They advertise items that they do not have and then refuse to cancel the order when you call to do that – “we don’t cancel orders – it’s our policy” they say. I have been waiting for two weeks and still no sign of the die I can hardly even remember what I wanted it for….no, I remember. In any case, I LOVE the product. But the process to get it or get supplies…not so much. I hate to recommend the cutting system – but it is awesome! Just wish they would get the business structure to come close to matching the quality and efficiency of the cutters and dies.
I to am having a problem getting a response from customer service. I am so disappointed. As long as they got my money, I guess that’s all that matters to them.
I think the cutter and the dies are great but I find that they have no problem sending me a repeated die with a different number. For example when I originally bought my cutter i got the value die and.the 212 strip cutter. Did you know that those dies cut the same size as the bearpaw BOB does. When I placed my order that included the best bear paw i asked the sales person to review my dies i already owend to help me make sure I was not duplicating. They assured me i had no duplicates. Hmm. I also bought the Serindipity cube. I had watched the tutorial on accuquilt site and thought I had a good idea of what would be included it i was wrong. Several of the applique pieces do not have embroidery to finish them with. I called accuquilt to inquire and they will not provide me with the extra shapes even if I offered to pay an additional amount. The dies with accuquilt cut but support team is really missing it. I don’t feel supported in future purchases such makes me less likely to buy and enjoy.
I’d stay away from the company. Their customer service is abysmal. Their delivery seems to be random. I’ve invested several thousand dollars on my cutters, and 50+ dies. Today I got the absolute worst customer service of my life. The woman was condescending and rude. I was enquiring about getting a charity discount on a for of a Christmas Stocking, so I and my quilt guild could make 150 for underprivileged children. I will NEVER buy from this company again.
