Volusion is a great way to create your online store and your products seen and sold. They offer different levels of service and several additional features. Volusion is very easy to use, and secure, which are two key features to any good hosting company. They have a complete set of tools and software and experts to help with every step of the way. Their customer support is available 24/7 to assist with setup and/or help with questions and support after your store is setup. The FAQ page answers a lot questions that you may have. It is especially helpful explaining how the process works as well as what Volusion’s service does, before you decide to buy into it. Volusion offers discounts when you pay for a whole year instead of monthly. They also extend discounts to customers that purchase multiple stores through them.

CONS:

One of the drawbacks of using the service is that Volusion requires you to have an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate. This costs $89 from Volusion and $99 to transfer a third-party SSL certificate, so it makes sense to buy the SSL from Volusion. This is an extra cost on top of the monthly subscription fees. Looking at the other side of the situation, the SSL does provide an additional level of security which protects both Volusion and the customer.
