Absolutely awful experience with this company. I would be wary of buying from them. My order was damaged and unwearable but because I didn’t contact them within 14 days (which doesn’t comply with Consumer Law anyway) they have refused to replace or refund.
Matt was awesome!! He help me with one of my orders being sold out after it was already confirmed and purchased. He was so kind he checked the warehouse to make sure they were out. It was but he gave me the best discount and comped my shipping. Thanks again Matt!!
I ordered an Abominable Snowman (Bumble) suit for Halloween and when I got it, it was NOT white! It was a noticeable light blue! That’s not what it showed on the site, and the description did not say it was light blue, nor did it say it was not white. Who has ever seen a light blue snowman? I also ordered some light blue gloves because Bumble has blue hands, but the gloves would not stay on! They slipped off very easily, and I have large hands. I called Customer Service and the nice lady said I could return both items as defective, and I would be reimbursed the FULL amount I paid, including refunding the S/H, sales tax, and that I would NOT be charged a RESTOCK FEE (she checked with someone on that). I returned the items but when I got my VISA Statement I was not refunded the S/H and I was NOT refunded the sales tax I paid. How can this company keep WA State Sales Tax when there was no net purchase? Also, when I called back and spoke with a Manager, he refused to refund the remaining amount, saying they were going to keep my tax paid and SH as part of a restocking fee. I will be reporting this to the WA Dept. of Revenue, etc.
I am always hesitant to order clothes/costumes online due to not being able to see the fit or quality of materials, but the items we received were all true to size and didn’t look like a “cheap halloween costume” at all. Plus, we received the items within 2 business days! Can’t beat the prices or speedy service.
I really love HalloweenCostumes.com, the customer support assistance is really fast and very supportive. My first time ordered for our Committee customes delivered within a week and as they promised we received it on time. We have a little problem that we didn’t received the complete package and have a missing costumes. We feedback to them and they delivered it on the succeeding week. Nothing wrong with the costume except being too small. Wished the shipping minimum was a little lower for free shipping to receive it though, as rarely any costume for one person would be over $65 to meet that.
My issue with them is that I returned the item on November 8th and didn’t get an email saying they received my item back until December 11th… They probably had it days after November 8th. The email on December 11th said it would be “still up to 2 weeks to process my return.” It has been 4 weeks since that December 11th email and still no refund. I was already annoyed about having to pay return shipping on top of the “18% restocking fee” which seems pretty steep to open a box and put something back on a shelf. As it stands currently, I don’t know if I would ever order from them again or recommend them to anyone I know, even if I had a coupon. On top of that their customer service hours are very short and not on weekends at all either and I shouldn’t have to be babysitting this and reaching out about this. Regretting ordering from them. So far hasn’t been worth being a little cheaper than Amazon because of a coupon I had.
