The only drawback that have been mentioned in the MyPetDMV.com reviews is that the MyPetDMV.com can be quite strict when it comes to their ID process. In their policy, they say that if an ID design is submitted to them that do not have a pet photo, is illegal or fake will automatically be discarded without a refund and forward to the proper authorities. Although this can be the right thing to do for illegal things, it would be better if people that were unable to submit a pet photo to have a heads up first before having their design discarded right away.

***Buyer Beware***
I placed an order and pay via PayPal, and while I received a receipt from PayPal I never got any sort of confirmation or tracking number from this company. I paid for priority shipping and after six days I had to reach out to the company for more information. After two days of no response, I finally heard back. Michael said, “I don’t know what happened but must have gotten lost”. He asked me to confirm my address, which I did, and he claimed he would be remaking them and sending replacements off asap.
After a couple more days, I had to reach out to him again and ask where my product was. After another full day, I heard back and he asked me once again to confirm the address, which I did again, and never heard back. I messaged him again and he only responded when I asked for a full refund including the cost of the priority shipping that I had paid. Then all of a sudden he was more than happy to help me, and gave me a “tracking number” for USPS. He said he would drop the product off at the post office that afternoon.
Well it’s been three days now and the update via USPS is still showing that they have yet to receive the product to ship. I sent Michael an email yesterday wanting to know what the status update is and he never responded. I emailed him back requesting a full refund, because that seems to be the only thing that gets his attention. I haven’t heard back and have now had to dispute the charge as a fraud through my bank. Maybe now he’ll respond and my “must have gotten lost” items will “magically appear”. In all of my correspondence with Michael, I have expressed my concerns about him not furnishing his customers receipts from his business, nor tracking numbers. All of my concerns went un-answered, and instead of getting the products that I ordered, I seem to have purchased nothing but silence and half assed excuses. For the third time now I have asked for a full refund including the full cost of the shipping. And he never bothered to return my message.
I wish I had looked at his Google reviews before I purchased, these issues seem to be a running theme with him. He even published one of his customers full name and address, I can only assume to be vindictive for the low rating. I’m posting a screenshot of the tracking information, which shows the date the label was printed, but it’s still showing the USPS has never received the product to ship.
Mypetdmv is an awesome company…. not only do they make a great product but they also have exceptional customer service…. I get one for each of my 2 cats, my moms 3 cats, and they did something very special for me for my aunts dog … I cannot thank them enough for the great product and overwhelming kind customer service! Thank you mypetdmv!
ordered pet set 12/6..2 day delivery…….its now 12/23 and still have not received. When I contacted them I was told to wait a few more days due to the holiday high shipping. Waited a week……..again as of today nothing received. No sense in arguing with them my emails and comment section, waste of time…….went to credit card company and filed a dispute……guess what, they get no money from me, credit card company gave me a credit for this dead head company
It’s been almost 2 months since I’ve ordered mine. Never received it. Contacted them, messed it up by thinking I’m somebody else. Then when I told them it, they said they have to have their manager look into it. I’m getting very irritated
Received ID cards damaged in mail. Asked for refund and they told me no. Sent out new set instead. Never received that one so asked again for refund, in which they still said no. Website states 30 day money back guarantee. They sent out another that I did get, but I just tossed. Since I had to wait so long I went with another company for ID cards that are much better quality and great customer service.
-Overpriced
-Policy says no human only photos, doesn’t say no human and dog photos together. Instead of contacting me to change my photo they didn’t approve, they just cropped me out of the photo with my dog. Not what I ordered or paid for.
-Money back guarantee is a joke.
-Support is lacking, one way communication through comment box on page.
